FAQS
How old do I have to be to book treatment?
It is against the law to inject or book a consultation for anyone under the age of 18! So please bring id with you to your appointments.
I want treatment but I have a needle phobia!
Trypanophobia more commonly known as needle phobia can present a serious problem for people wanting to make a change to their appearance thru aesthetic treatments. The needles that are used in aesthetic treatments are incredibly thin. And the treatments are very quick. Please let us know before your treatment if you have a needle phobia. And we will take steps to make the appointment as comfortable as possible for you. Client comfort is important to us and remember numbing cream is always applied before any treatment, so this helps to minimise any discomfort.
Why should I avoid caffeine and alcohol before my appointment?
Caffeine - Avoid caffeine for about 24 hours before your procedure and avoid other foods or drinks that have a dehydrating tendency, as this could slow the healing process. Alcohol - Alcohol also acts as a blood thinner, so give it a miss for a few days before an injection. It’s worth the effort as you should have less bleeding, bruising, and swelling during and after your treatment.
Usual maintenance times – The way our bodies metabolise injectables can vary from person to person. Here I have listed the predicted maintenance time for some of my most popular treatments. Anti-wrinkle – Top up after two weeks if needed then every 3/6 months. Lips – Can vary between each individual but typically lasts between 8-12 months. Chin, jaw, and cheeks Maintenance between every 12-24 months.
Will I bruise after my treatment?
Brusing is a result of damaged blood vessels underneath the skin. When blood pools under the skin it causes black, blue, purple, brown or yellow discoloration. Tissue trauma is inevitable, certain procedure areas and techniques create a higher risk of bruising. Consider at least 2 weeks grace before any special events.
